Tips for Maintaining Financial Health Shared at Local Women's Conference

Sarasota-based Dictor | Martin and Oppenheimer Funds were pleased to sponsor Karin Grablin’s appearance on Saturday, May 9^th at the “Speaking of Women’s Health” conference to benefit the Manatee Memorial Hospital Foundation. 

In her presentation, “Maintaining Your Financial Health in Tough Economic Times” Ms. Grablin gave an overview of the key financial components that women should make sure they are addressing in their own financial plans - right now, as we all navigate through these challenging economic times.   Her talk included an analysis of recent & historical market volatility and gave attendees more insight on how to indentify and respond to these changing market conditions. She concluded her presentation with guidance on how women can do a “reality check” on their own retirement forecast to enable them to better answer the question, “Am I going to be OK – financially?” 

An Ohio native, Karin Grablin graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford and earned her CPA while on the audit staff for Deloitte & Touche. She earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Arizona and worked in private industry for almost 20 years before becoming a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner in 2000. She currently writes a financial planning column for the Bradenton Herald. She joined Dictor | Martin as a Personal CFO in 2005.
